Supernova are Emiliano Nencioni and Giacomo Godi, Italian DJ producers, active on the national and international scene since over twenty years. Their career and musical skills as DJs, musicians and composers has lead them to produce two albums, dozens of compilations, hundreds of releases and many successful remixes as well as collaborating with the likes of Frankie Knuckles or Kevin Saunderson and labels such as Defected Records just to name a few.

Their double soul as dj producersled them to found and manage three record labels: Lapsus Music, Downtown Underground and Blackboard. The labels explore many different vibes of the electronic music scene from house music through deep house till a more minimal house and tech approach.Supernova’s success as dj producer bring them to perform in some of the best Italian clubs, including: Amnesia (Milan), Phi Beach (Costa Smeralda) and Tenax (Florence) just to name a few. On top of the Italian and most important European clubs, their music bring them touring very often around the world: in North America, South America, Asia and Australia. They have performed worldwide among the most iconic clubs like Amnesia (Ibiza), Cavo Paradiso ( Mykonos), Cielo (New York), Space (Ibiza) and Womb (Tokyo).
Supernova latests mixes have been broadcasted on the most important Italian and international radio stations, and recently, their really special streaming video performances have been watched by millions of viewers. Supernova are not only dj producer they are also art directors and event organizers in some of the most popular Italian clubs located in Florence, Milan and Sardinia; three cities that have been the key for their personal and business careers. Florence is were they actually live and were they owns the recording studio, home of their three record labels.
Supernova have released many and different electronic music productions.
In 2003 their first album After Beach was released. It’s a journey between house music and downtempo that includes a really special electronic re-interpretation of Duran Duran famous single “Save a Prayer”. In 2007 they’ve released a second album, “Downtown Underground”, signed by Sony BMG including prestigious collaborations like Grand Master Melle Mel. After two albums the Italian duo have been focused in many and prolific electronic music production sessions that led them to release many hot singles.
Over the years, Supernova felt the need to extend their horizons as music producers and share as much music as possible with their audience. That’s why in 2009 they founded Lapsus Music. Thanks to the music quality and the support of many great artists that have been part of it, Lapsus Music is now considered one of the most interesting independent record label. In 2017 Supernova founded two new imprint: Downtown Underground and Blackboard which complete their vision as musicproducers.
Supernova create and produce all their songs in their recording studio in Florence. Located on the hills around Florence, the studio consist of three production rooms equipped with the best hardwares and softwares.
